I just returned home from seeing 2012 (IMDB) with some friends and workmates in the Xinedome. It’s legitimate to call this movie a true Emmerich film. It was starring cool John Cusack, nice Thandie Newton, ok-ish Amanda Peet, Danny Glover and funny Woody Harrelson in a quite short role. Quite an epic story and you ask yourself afterwards: Is there any way for Emmerich to ever top this one…destructionwise? I loved the special effects and also most of the actors did a good job. The story was kind of weak but it was solid popcorn cinema. This movie deserves 7 out of 10.
