I successfully converted some HD movies to WMV-HD format in 1080p and it is a pleasure watching them on my plasma tv. Awesome details and a perfectly sharp picture. I really can recommend the open source movies Elephant’s Dream and Big Buck Bunny here. Both can be downloaded in Full-HD resolution. I used the Windows Media Encoder 9 and the MediaCoder for converting the movies to a format playable and streamable from the WindowsMediaPlayer11 to the Xbox 360.
