I decided to finally move to Windows Vista some days ago and since I got a original license of Windows Vista Business from a good friend (He’s a Apple guy and had no use for it), I immediately bought a new S-ATA harddisc to install the whole thing on my good old Biostar iDEQ 200n and keeping my previous WindowsXP installation as fallback. It was quite a challenge, as there were several problems finding drivers for the SATA raid (you need at least the “VIA VRAID” driver for the VT6420 Serial ATA controller for Windows Vista, Version 5.70a.), but now it’s up and running and working like a charm. No glitches or slowdowns noticeable up to now and the Aero design looks quite beautiful. Let’s see what the next days will bring.
