Jeri Ellsworth isn’t the ordinary 30-year-old-high-school-drop-out-girl. She is a self-taught computer chip designer and squeezed the two decades old Commodore 64 (sorry, German link) into a joystick that everyone remembers as the good old Competition Pro. The device runs 30 video games from the the early 80s and also features several hidden bonus stuff. It is mainly sold over QVC. You can read the whole story at The New York Times – Online. Would have been my favourite Xmas present for several people, but it’s not sold in Germany at the moment. Possibly because this device only features NTSC-video-output at the moment.
