The SpaceShipOne built by Scaled Composites has successfully fullfilled the demanded two flights over 100 km height to win the AnsariX-Prize. The efforts of the company is rewarded with 10 million dollars. Hopefully this will lead to relatively cheap trips into space in the next 10 to 15 years. The AnsariX-Prize was first announced 8 years ago and hopefully won’t be the last competition of this type.
