The movies made me look for more and so I just ordered Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (adult edition) via Amazon.de. I tried the same book in German once, but I didn’t like the writing style, so now I give the original version a shot. Hopefully this will be better than the german translation! Oh…and…let’s see how “adult” this one is!
