I just returned home from seeing The Dark Knight (IMDB) at the Xinedome here in Ulm together with Lisa and Christian. It had it’s lenghts, but overall it was a really good movie with Christian Bale as Batman, Heath Ledger as Joker (sensational and a shame he ended his life. A really great actor.), Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face, my alltime favourite Gary Oldman as James Gordon and some more top actors. I also believe this is the best work of Hans Zimmer I’ve ever heard. The distracted sounds during the Joker’s scenes are so…weird. Compared to the old Batman movies with Joker I think both stand on the same level but show a completely different Batman and Joker. We’ve seen the movie in the orignal english version and I believe this was a good choice because the german voices I’ve seen in the trailers suck bigtime. This movie clearly deserves 8.5 out of 10.
Oh…not to forget…the Oscar for the “Best Warmup-Raclette Performance” before cinema goooooooooooeeeeeeees to Lisaaaaaaaaaaa!!
