It’s again the time of Swabian-Alemannic Fasnet, a German form of carnival. A year has gone by since the first “Ulmer Lechthal Hex” walked through these beautiful season of the year. Hiding himself behind a wooden mask is one of the traditions of the area I grew up. Some of you already know I’m still working on founding a new fasnet guild here in Ulm. It requires quite an amount of work, especially when it comes to the costume. I now started two new masks. Another witch and a individual mask for the Lechthaler. And for sure I’ll be seen during the Fasnet masked as witch once more. Things come true rather slow. But they come true. Especially to the people that want to join the guild, be sure it comes true!
