I came to see Underworld Evolution (IMDB) at the Xinedome this evening (sadly in German synchronization) and I can say it was an amazing ride! A lot of things and questions open after the first part were answered. The production design was again fantastic, very dark and stylish. Kate Beckinsale as “Selene” did a great job as main character again and was stunningly sexy in her outfit (even more in the scenes without outfit!). Scott Speedman played the Hybrid Vampire-Lycan “Michael Corvin”, Tony Curran acted as “Marcus”, Derek Jacobi was playing “Alexander Corvinus” and there were much more actors that did a really cool job. You also should have a look at the movie website, it’s worth it. This movie gets 9.5 out of 10 (9 for the movie and a 0.5 bonus for Miss Beckinsale). Definitely a movie I will buy on DVD as soon as possible…maybe via a canadian store. 😉
